I am having such a great time in the pool! I am learning to kick with a kick board!

Look at my writing at the beginning of the year and look at it now! I am learning so many things in writing like how to use finger spaces.

This year I have learnt so many new letters, sounds and words in reading. Check out all the letters, sounds and words I have learnt so far.

I am learning how to write numbers correctly to 10 and how to put them in order! I am on my way to learning more numbers!

Welcome to my Year 1 learning blog. This year I am in room 6 and my teacher is Miss Johnston.

On Friday 27th November we celebrated Book Character Day.

We got to dress up in our favourite book character costume and we paraded around in-front of the whole school.

We had such a fun day!

We have been exploring words that start with 's'.

The slime was gooey, slippery, slimey, soft, smooth and sticky and smells soapy.

Here I am playing with "s for slime."

It was fun.
